Happy Birthday Wyatt

Wyatt is 6! For his birthday he got to choose 2 friends to bring with him to Chuckie Cheese's. He brought Willy and Gray.

Chuckie danced the Hokie Pokie with them and threw tickets in the air they got to pick up. Lucky for us we went on a tuesday after school...no crowds.

Veteran's Day

Reagan was in a little school choir group. On Thursday Nov 12 they had their concert. It was "all American" to celebrate our military. They sang several different American songs and had a slide show of our soldiers from now to years past. She had a small speaking part...that's her in the very front. I think she would have preferred a solo instead.
I met my sister and her 2 girls at Red Mountain park on Veteran's Day. We had a great time...my kids played for 2 hours without complaint. That makes it extra good!

You know your girls are big when they offer to take the little kids to the swings, and down the slides, and help them on the rocking animals all of their own free will. I love my helpful girls and I know my 8 month pregnant sister loves them too=)

We are so lucky to be a part of this wonder-
ful
country. Thank You to all our service- men and women who make it possible.
A special thanks to our Uncle Eric who is in Iraq right now...We love You! And to Grandpa Ben who served in WWII!! WE LOVE AMERICA!!!!

Pilgrims and Indians

Last year I made these cute pilgrims with their turkey. I really wanted some indians, so I had to try. This is what I came up with. I don't think they're quite as cute as my pilgrims, but they're still pretty cute. It's the first craft I've done since moving back to AZ. I love it!

Halloween

Here's Wyatt at his storybook parade. For the Kindergartens Halloween celebration they have a storybook parade...the kids can only dress up if they are in "character" from a book. I loved the idea! I did make the costume. I had fun doing it too=)
It's Halloween!!! We went to see our Great Grandpa Ben all dressed in costume. I found this wig for $2. I tried to get Reagan to wear it but she said it was too itchy. I didn't mind the itchy. It was so fun to dress up. I actually made a costume for Wyatt...Max from "Where the Wild things are". He wore it the day before and begged my to be the cowboy on Halloween. How can you refuse. I hope everyone had a wonderful Halloween.
I got a little into the Halloween spirit this year. I hung decorations up in my kitchen/family room. I mostly love the bats. We invited some friends over for dinner and made good ol hotdog mummies and a spider cheese ball for dinner.

Zombie Prom

My new calling is Activity Days Leader over the 8-9 year old girls. The older girls got a new leader as well but they had been working on a daddy/daughter activity. They wanted a "prom night", I thought since it was Halloween we should do a Zombie Prom.

It was so much fun. We had the girls and dads "zombie-up" each other. They also learned part of the dance "Thriller" we had a mom come to teach them. And we asked for spooky treats or appetizers for them to share.

My Kids

Reagan made the "star honor roll" today. We are so proud of her. She decided she wanted to learn to play the cello this year in orchestra as well. Her and Cameron are also taking tennis lessons which they both really enjoy.
Cameron is 8! She had her birthday party at our house with 10 girls. It was crazy fun! We had a baking theme. I made each girl an apron out of a hand towel. They turned out so very cute. I had each of the girls learn how to measure by having them make a "cookie mix in a jar" for them to take home. If I was better at taking pictures I'd have them up...but I'm not =)

Wyatt got to go on his first field trip. Superstition Springs Farm, notice all the cows in the background. It was interesting! There are 5-7 calves born everyday. We didn't get to see one be born but we did get to see a 3 hour old baby cow. We also saw baby bunnies and there was a petting zoo. Wyatt got to hold one of the chickens, I think he really liked it.

Mom: Cash, go get some shoes on. I guess dads were good enough.

I just spent the weekend in Rohnert Park, California. I was able to go see my brother T.J. graduate from high school. I don't have pics from the celebrations yet, but my dad did get me this pic. This is what my dad does for a living, during the summer. In the winter he is a airplane mechanic, but his summer job is Awesome. This is his plane # 75.

2- entrance
3- Kitchen flows to family room
4- POOL!!!

There ya have it FINALLY!!! This is our new home here in Mesa, AZ. We are loving it so much. Today it was only 90 degrees with a breeze and we finally made it to the neighborhood park. Wyatt actually fell off the swings with a bonk on the head, but it was a beautiful day.

getting settled

So we're finally here in AZ and slowly getting settled. We won't have phone or internet til next week. We got Direct TV today and it took 6 hours. Lets hope Cable and internet won't take too long. We're loving the neighborhood so far. 2 little girls, 8 and 9 brought welcoming letters to us...it was so sweet. We've met many neighbors already and its only been 3 days. My kids keep saying it doesn't feel like we've left Colorado...wait til Sunday.

I just wanted to Thank You to everyone who helped us in the moving process, it was a crazy week last week and I never would have made it without all your help. Thank You!!!!!
